Camera System FAQ

Our fixed cameras use a 4MP sensor. Running at full resolution, this can be likened to 2 time the quality of HDMI or half the quality of 4k resolution.
This is not a simple answer. The retention for video is dependant on how busy the site is, recording schedules and the quality settings in the camera. Generally with motion detection, customers can expect one month. For still images we can store these in our cloud service where the ability to retain images is unlimited.
The base is 1250mm square and the mast is four meters high.
This is the customers responsibility to pay for any damage that may happen to any equipment owned by Watchtower Security.
Yes this is possible provided that there is an AC power source not too far away. We are able to run the camera from the mains. The camera unit still operated with the battery as a backup, so if an intruder was to cut the cable the camera will continue to operate.
