General FAQ
01.How do I get a quote?
Very Easy! You can request a quote in several ways:
- Email us - Click here.
- Call us on 0800 20 60 80.
- Click on the "Get a Quote" button and complete your details.
02.Can I cancel at anytime?
Yes you can, just be aware that some products have a minimum charge period.
03.Do you hire to private customers?
Yes we do. We hire to Joe Bloggs having a birthday party on Saturday night right through to large commercial clients.
04.Do you take credit card payment?
Yes we do. We can either take details over the phone or send you an invoice which provides the option of you entering the details in yourself.
05.Do you provide trade accounts?
Yes its as easy as completing an account form. We send you invoices at the end of the month payable the 20th of the following month.
06.Where are you located?
We are based in Takanini, Auckland.
07.How does pricing work?
>Camera hire is charged on a weekly basis (invoiced monthly) and then one off setup/dismantling costs for the camera systems.
08.Is there a minimum hireage period?
Yes, minimum one month hire.
09.Do you offer discounts for multiple camera units?
Discounts are available for multiple units, whether being hired or purchased. Please enquire for more information.
Security Tower Specific FAQ
01.How long does it take to get a camera installed?
Generally we can get a camera installed within a day or two in the Auckland Region. Sometimes it can take a little longer depending on stock availability and ofcourse the weather.
02.Can I pick up equipment myself?
If purchasing yes you can, for camera rentals we prefer to set them up ourselves. We can show you how to set the camera units up.
03.How far back can I review footage?
This is not a simple answer. The retention for video is dependant on how busy the site is, recording schedules and the quality settings in the camera. Generally with motion detection, customers can expect one month.
04.What are the dimensions for the security tower?
The base is 1250mm x 1250mm and the mast is four meters high.
05.Can the security tower be set up indoors or in an area of low sun?
Yes this is possible provided that there is a mains power source available. The camera unit still operates with the battery as a backup, so if an intruder was to cut the cable the camera will continue to operate.
06.What happens if the camera or hardware is damaged?
The camera system is is the customers responsibility while in their possession, any damage is on-charged.
Purchasing A Tower FAQ
01.What is the lead time for purchased units?
Generally a week to two weeks depending on parts availability. When we sell cameras we build them from scratch to ensure all components are new.
02.Do I have to set up or move the camera myself if I own it?
No we have several customers that own the camera towers and we move them around as needed.
